Areas currently covered include: Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Devon and Cornwall , Herefordshire and London. Most sitters are prepared to travel further distances if required.
Some pets become stressed and unhappy if they are put in kennels or home-boarded which can also be costly for more than one pet. Our clients use our service over and over again because they know they will come home to happy pets. Maid for Pets offers a service tailor-made to suit each client’s individual requirement, the main responsibilities being the care of your animals and the security of your property while you are away. Most clients have dogs and cats but others have hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises, horses and ponies, alpacas, donkeys, pigs, poultry, ducks, domestic birds and all sorts. We have sitters experienced in looking after all these creatures.
Our sitters are mature, responsible animal lovers who have been carefully selected for their honesty, integrity and conscientiousness. Professional references have been taken up and their backgrounds investigated.
The sitter will look after the domestic animals, water the plants, take messages, forward mail (if required), and keep their area in your house clean and tidy. They are not permitted to leave the premises for more than three hours day or night and typically will only absent for shorter periods to shop for provisions. We keep in constant touch with our sitters while they are working and we are able to assist should an emergency occur.
Sitters provide their own food. Maid for Pets is covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Going away? Maid for Pets = Peace of Mind
"Gone are the days of spending my whole holiday (or weekend) worrying about the house and animals. With Maid for Pets, we can go away confident that everything at home is in safe hands. Maid for Pets has always been 100% reliable."
Mrs P, Hampshire
"Maid for Pets’s management and sitters are lovely people and true animal
lovers. They are very reliable and accommodating, and they take
excellent care of your pet, giving them lots of love and attention. They have looked after our (very sweet but quite demanding) cat several
times, and each time we have come home to a happy, relaxed, well-cared-for animal. He genuinely misses them when they are gone! The
fee is also very reasonable for the quality of care offered. We will certainly be using Maid for Pets’ services in the future and we highly

"I first discovered Maid for Pets some four years ago, Angela and her team are amazing, they offer a very efficient service, all the sitters are very reliable and caring and I know that I leave my home and pets, three dogs and two cats in very capable hands, in fact my animals have more company when I am away my than when I am at home!, I now consider some of the team friends and very able to cope in any situation put before them, I thoroughly recommend Maid for Pets."
Mrs N, North Oxfordshire
"Whether we are away for just a few days or weeks at a time, Maid 4 Pets are great. We’ve been with them for 15 years now, and they have never let us down. Our sitters, whom we have a chance to interview first, are all excellent in their own ways, some of them developing into friends over the years. We can go away in the knowledge that our dogs will be happy and well cared for on our return, with the added bonus that our house has been secure. The booking process, confirmations and the sitters – the entire service is completely reliable.... and all for about the same costs as kennelling, so why wouldn’t you? Thank you to Angela and her team.”
